Stephen Brinks, Physiotherapist/Owner
Stephen graduated from the University of Alberta in 2007 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Exercise and Health Physiology. He uses various treatment techniques, including dry needling, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, exercise prescription, taping, and modalities. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 boys, cycling, basketball, and camping.
Robynn Hoetmer, Physiotherapist
Robynn graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has physiotherapy experience with children and adults in orthopedic, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions. Robynn utilizes mobilizations, home exercise prescription, education, taping and modalities in her practice. Outside of work, she finds joy in being with her husband and five kids in the forest, up a mountain, at the beach, on a bike, gardening or reading.
Candace Baker, Certified Athletic Therapist and Physiotherapy Assistant
Candace graduated from Lakehead University in 2007 with the Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology, and went on to Mount Royal University to obtain the Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy, and certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association in 2010. She uses various treatment techniques, including soft tissue mobilization, electrotherapy modalities, and manual therapy, but she loves to use exercises the most. Candace moved to Drayton Valley in 2009 to assist the Drayton Valley Thunder and has remained in the community with her spouse since.
Rebecca Mackey, Office Manager
Rebecca Mackey keeps the office running smoothly as the Office Manager at Drayton Valley Physiotherapy. Rebecca completed the Administrative Professional Certificate program through NorQuest College in 2014. Her extensive experience as an Office Administrator equips her with the tools and skills to deliver outstanding service that both our staff and our clients immensely appreciate. Rebecca is an active member of her gym and an avid outdoors person.
