173. Foot Slides

In sitting, place your foot on a towel. Using your legs only, slide your foot back toward you as far as you can without changing position in the chair (ie lifting your hip). Slide back to the start and repeat as directed. This exercise works to increase range of motion in the hip and ankle. This will be easier on a smooth surface (tile) and harder on a textured surface (carpet).
