These are some movements of the shoulder: 1. Flexion 2. Abduction 3. Lateral or external rotation 4. Medial or internal rotation 5. Horizontal adduction 6. Horizontal abduction 7. Extension Most of the movements we do throughout the day are a combination of 2 or more of these movements, so it is important to keep up your range of motion in all directions.
